The Nutty Bird aka Julia Nouveau has always had a huge love for music, coming from a very musical family background. She went to her first rave in 1987 and never looked back. Genre: Old Skool House Music

Started off listening to Hip Hop then got introduced to Acid House in 1988 and addicted to pirates and house ever since. First pirates I loved were Planet 91.6, Dance 93, Fantasy 98, Moonlight 101, Rave 99.3, Friends 100.7 and CentreForce 88.3 FM !!!! These were a massive influence and I still go back and get track names from recordings to play to this day. I went on to run my own station Touch 98 FM from Sheppey, Kent and helped run Haze FM as well. My weekly shows are all about catching back the vibe from the Summer of love and the beginning of house in true pirate style!!!! Kick back and enjoy the Acid House from me Warbo!!!!!

Genre: 1988-92 Old Skool House, present House music

Genre: 1987-91 House Music, Acid House, Bleep Techno

Started DJ'ing in 1989 at 15y/o in Cornwall and held the local residency at the only nightspot in town before moving back to London at 17 where I got involved with radio and started playing on London's pirate radio stations. Over the years I've had stints on pirates Eruption FM, Kool FM, Shakedown FM, Smoove FM and many others. I've also played many internet stations and even did a weekly show on legal FM radio, but Fantasy was always number one for me. Played clubs, raves, pubs, party's and festivals up and down the country and got many a mad tale to tell about it. I've released House, trance and Hardcore music over the years and seen some of my releases top charts and my voice got used for an advert for clubnight 'Peach' on Kiss FM back in 98.

Radio has always been really important to me and it’s what first brought House music to my like back in 86/87 and once I heard Krush - House Arrest...that was it, I was blown away and have never looked back since. Then in 89 I heard Fantasy FM, those original House and rave pirates like Fantasy, Centreforce, Friends, Raw FM etc were just pure magic, a huge influence on me and pushed the music to an even bigger audience. The scene would never have got as big as it did without them and Fantasy was the one that had the biggest impact on me, I've always loved it and if I could get around the legal implications I'd probably marry it.

I love all music old and new (apart from crap music like X-Factor stuff) but my sets are the music that means the most to me...87-91 House, Acieeed and Bleep Techno. I mix up underground sounds with a few bigger tracks here and there so hope to see you on Sunday's from midday where I can do your head in for two hours and yep, it's all vinyl cause I'm an old git and I don't know how to use a controller and have no interest in learning. P.L.U.R and big respects to all Dance music lovers old and new.

Genre: DnB, Old & new Jungle, 90-93 Hardcore, Breakbeat, Electro

I started mixing in the mid to late 80's playing Electro and Hip Hop. I first got into Rave music listening to Fantasy FM and Sunrise and the first Rave I went to was Crazy Club at the Astoria. I followed the Bleep sound through Techno, Hardcore and into Jungle and DnB. From about 97 I started mostly playing Nu Skool Breaks and did so for about 10 years until I fell in love with Drum & Bass again.

Genre: Warehouse Rave/Italo House/Old Skool/Breakbeat Hardcore.

It all started at 10 years old in my home town of Blackburn. I was very influenced by the dance music scene which back then was at its peak. I got my first set of decks at 13 (THANKS MUM!). With just a handful of records I concentrated on beat mixing and cue points with just the records I had. As I started to buy more records, I became passionate for mixing. As I felt more confident, I started to give mix tapes out to friends and gain a following. I got invited to DJ at house parties in the North West and sent my mixes to various clubs.

My first big gig was at Bar Juice, for Rock FM's 'Battle Of The DJs Event', which gave me that little bit more recognition. After a while, I got the chance to DJ in various venues such as The Cricketers, Mirage, Bar None, Luv2Luv/Trapdoor @The Basement/Kinetic in Chorley/Hustle Goes Oldskool/Chorley FM with Chris Biskit and Luv2Love@ Park Hall Night Club with the good man like Steve RH in the VIP bar and The Northern Project, where I also had the privilege of meeting the iconic & legendary DJ Stu Allan from KEY103 Radio. I also successfully founded my own nights for two years - 'Bring That Beat Back!' at the Swan with 2 Necks, Chorley which was a popular event on Friday & Saturday nights.

Genre: Techno, Trance & Hard House

"Halo has been playing techno and hard dance music on the underground and fetish scene since the 90s, with residencies at Hard On, Kaos and Transister in London and guesting at clubs around the world as well as a long-running radio show on interFACE Pirate Radio. She is currently a resident at 'Dark Room', 'Medicina' and Transister in London and hosts a weekly radio show on Monday nights 20:00 - 22:00 GMT

Genre: Classic House music & Garage,Hardcore Breaks, Progressive House & Trance

Neli’s love of music stems from  warehouse parties and raucous club nights back in his native North-West during its raving heyday.

This led to him DJing in many different spaces from clubs and pubs in the UK to Bush Doofs, late-night bars and chilled beachside sundowners around Australia (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth), supporting the likes of Slipmatt, Dream Frequency, FPI Project, Dr Packer and DJ Welly along the way.

Vinyl is still king for Neli, so whether it's classic house and garage, hardcore breaks, progressive house or trance  you can rest assured it will be coming to you from a pair of trusty 1210s and his vast record collection. This could be on his regular radio show right here on Fantasy FM or through the "In The Beginning There Was Jack" old skool nights which have been kicking up a storm for the past eight years co-curated by himself and enforcing a strict vinyl only policy.

Recently releasing his debut EP, Sweet Life (on 12 inch of course!), we think Neli holds all the credentials to fit perfectly into the vibe and ethos here at Fantasy.

Genre: Uplifting Vocal Classic & Jackin House music

It all started back in 1994 when Jay (Skinnfella) was bought his first set of decks (a FAL wooden cased twin record deck player) for Christmas. He was managing a small second-hand record shop at the time called Hits, Misses & Vintage Records, in Coventry. Here is where he got first dibs on the vinyl that came through the door and boy did he bag some bangers! Some of which are still in his vinyl collection today. Skinnfella started playing at a pub called the Hope & Anchor on a Thursday night and at the Plough on London road, Coventry alongside two well-known DJs of the time, Skinnfella went on to play several sets for God’s Kitchen, at the Planet nightclub and former home of the iconic Eclipse – a venue of massive influence for music & the rave scene back in its day due to Jay family ties with the Club. In November 2016 Skinnfella came out of retirement after a back injury and kicked off playing at the legendary Ministry of Sound, London, alongside his good friend Kuska playing for FunkDelux. Since his return he has had sets with Crazy Daisy’s, Gatecrashers Ruins Afterparty, and Big Bamboo as well as throwing himself back into Amnesia House with Nev & Bam. Whilst in Ibiza he played at Mambo, Float your boat Party, Jet Apartments & Es Paradis, Slip Back In Time and on his return to the UK, Jump to 2023 which started with a bang, securing his own Bi-weekly show on Fantasy FM and also playing at Ellis Dee’s 60th Suprise birthday party. Over the last few years Skinnfella has been building an Event hire company over the last few years and has invested in a CDJ 2000 Platinum set up, CDJ 3000 set up XDJ-ZX, along with a massive 22k Logic Ethos sound system, stage rigging, lights and lasers, inflatable Stage. He now co-owns 4 events – Raveistory, Smile with Jay G Grainger formally Cream Ibiza, All Things House and of course Amnesia House est1989 alongside good friends and founders Nev & Bam – all still going strong with plans to expand in the future. 2024 is looking busy, busy, busy!
